 CNC Generating
With the recent addition of new CNC generating equipment, Janos has dramatically enhanced our capacity to rapidly and accurately speed single and volume lenses through the production process. Our acquisition of the Optipro 125 and Schneider SLG 50 has given Janos the ability to machine complex geometrical features such as angular truncations, rounded corners, elliptical edge shapes, notches, steps, conical edges, angular edges and other features.

CNC Centering
Janos has recently purchased a new LOH CNC centering machine that can center and edge lenses of 10 to 300mm in diameter – fast, reliable and precise. The complementary tool geometry permits processing of complex lens shapes (i.e. not-rotatory symmetric contours as well as not round shapes) without tool change.
