Janos Technology Appoints New President

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Brett D. Rosner as the new President of Janos Technology Inc. Mr. Rosner brings with him over 20 years of experience in military and commercial electro-optics design, business development, marketing, management and leadership at such companies as Santa Barbara Focalplane, Hughes/GM and Sonatech.

“The appointment of Rosner begins a new and exciting era in the continued evolution of Janos Technology,” says Phil Haag, President of The Monroe Group, Janos’ holding company. Bruce Gardner, former President of Janos, will remain with the company and assume the new role of Vice President of Technology. Mr. Gardner will now have responsibility for evaluating and seeking out new technologies in coating, materials and manufacturing processes. He will also provide analytical support and due diligence of new investment opportunities.

Choosing an Infrared lens for your next application.

When choosing the right infrared lens for your thermal imaging camera, there are many factors to take into consideration. This article will help define and explain the critical aspects of infrared lenses to enable you to make an educated buying decision.

“Ninox” line of multi-spectral (3-12um) thermal imaging lenses now available from stock.

Multi-Spectral Lenses
The new NINOX series are designed to perform from 3-12 microns, and will be available in 25mm, 50mm, and 100mm focal lengths. The 25mm and 50mm focal length lenses are now available from stock. These lenses are designed with an image diameter of 21mm, a stop size of 11mm, and a back working distance of 33.1mm. The lenses have manual focus and a bayonet interface.
